What is a bonded pair?

When cats live together for a long time, they often become "bonded" together.  This means that they are used to having their sibling or best friend, around them all the time and would be very unhappy, even becoming depressed, if they were separated.  Bonded cats often play together, sleep curled up together, groom one another, and may seem to have a special way of communicating with each other.

Bonded pairs must be adopted together.
